What a Roller Coaster!

Hey what a roller coaster of emotions that weekend was with such a crazy track to great results and then the damage and crashes that I was basically a passenger for and not my fault. Loz the wizard is the most amazing engineer / mechanic I’m so grateful for what he did staying up all night to fix the car and get me on track for Sunday.

I was coming out swinging to make him and my home town proud of what we as a team can accomplish. We qualified 18th and raced our way up to 12th in the last race. For my rookie race in the category and only having the car for 6 weeks before we raced and 3 test days in it finishing 14th in points for the round is awesome and to race with fellow Novacastrians Shaun Martin Motorsport / Cody McKay Motorsports /Charlotte Poynting Racing was also a highlight

Thanks also to Lachlan Ward for the guidance and coaching along the way your a bloody legend.

The body is sore from head to toe with my leg being the worst but not broken so I will heal up and race again.

Unfortunately speed racer will not see a race track again the damage was so massive it has completely bent the chassis beyond repair.

P.S having my girls there to see daddy race was also a massive moment thanks Cari for bringing them in as it’s not easy with 4 kids.
