2022 TGRA 86 Series Update

With the final round of the 2022 TGRA 86 Series around the corner, Michael Sherwell would like to confirm that he has stepped back from Sherwell Racing to focus on his family and his role as General Manager of Nova Air and Electrical. Michael would like to pass on his heartfelt thanks to his family for all their support over the last two years. The amazing support shown by the local businesses who have got behind the team as meant Michael has been able to compete with full professional teams from across Australia. Having an outstanding pit crew headed by Loz, Sherwell Racing has been able to compete with the best in the business. A huge thank you must be extended to all of people across Newcastle and the Hunter who have got behind Michael.

The final round of the year is at the iconic Mt Panorama and while Michael won’t be behind the wheel, Elvis will still be taking on the mountain. Loz has stepped up as team manager and engineer to run the car and the team with young up and coming driver Bradi Owen behind the wheel. This will be Bradi’s first start this series and we can’t wait to see how he goes on the famous track!
